CQ aviation is accredited by the South African Civil Aviation Authority to conduct ON-LINE Private Pilot License theory exams at the School. Coming soon CQ Aviation will be able to conduct On-Line Instructors Exams.

Weather in South Africa
Based in Springs on the East Rand in Gauteng which  offers one of the world’s best climates in the world allowing flight Training throughout the year with only a few days a year when Flight Training is interrupted by weather. CQ Aviation Flight Training School has opened a flight school based at Secunda airport to expand and futher improve our training facilities.
These interruptions are usually fog early mornings during the winter which  usually clears by mid morning. Summers bring early afternoon thunderstorms which last for 1-2 hours.
Johannesburg and Pretoria differ in temperature by about 2% (Pretoria being the warmer of the two). Johannesburg Weather: Johannesburg has a delightfully mild climate, neither humid nor too hot for comfort.
There are about six weeks of chill in mid-winter (from July to August). Summer, offering warm African sunshine followed by balmy nights, runs from October to March.
Flight Training
Based at Springs Airport, CQ Aviation Flight Training School offers training which is tailor-made for any students need, from the full-time student to the student that can only fly certain days. Springs Airport is free from the highly congested special rules areas around Johannesburg International Airport which allows our Instructors to concentrate on teaching you the student to fly the aircraft.
Flying at CQ Aviation Flight Training School  presents its own challenges and students will appreciate high altitude operations.
